Oh, my! Can it true? Was my last blog post really on April 25? As is true for everyone, life took a quick turn after my last post. In May I started working on getting the house ready to put on the market. My first task was to work on curb appeal, so there was a lot of exterior work to get done.
Before I knew it, June had rolled around and it was time to focus even more on working de-cluttering the house. More stress headed my way as I began to prepare for my divorce mediation. Occasionally, I would think about the blog, but that thought would quickly dissipate. I just couldn’t add another item to my long list of to-dos. I was stressed enough!
What is the lesson here? When life comes at you at full speed, you need to step back and simplify. I had to put less urgent tasks on the back burner so that I could tend to the more urgent ones. This was not an easy decision. Has my business suffered? Most definitely yes! However, if I hadn’t set aside those other tasks, I don’t know how I would have survived this summer.
The good news is that I am beginning to see the light at the end of tunnel. Silvia is on her way back!
